Meet Breanna Kirkland
A seasoned early childhood education and social work professional, Breanna Kirkland is the innovative mind behind Expanding Minds Academy. A proud Orlando native, Breanna's pursuit of a career in childcare and academics was fueled by her profound love for children. After earning her degree in Psychology, she specialized in Family and Marriage Social Work. This focus on family dynamics and the nurturing aspects of early childhood development provided her with distinctive insights into the unique learning needs of young minds.

In her role as a Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) Instructor, Breanna identified both the beneficial and detrimental aspects of prevalent academic structures. This invaluable experience guided her in designing an academic environment that optimizes a child's learning potential and encourages holistic development.
Expanding Minds Academy reflects Breanna's commitment to cultivating children's inherent strengths and talents. The Academy's mission is to prepare students for success in competitive examinations at every level. Breanna's decade-long tenure as a customer service professional has significantly influenced her approach, bestowing upon her remarkable empathy, creativity, and responsiveness. Those who know her or have interacted with her admire these qualities greatly.

Breanna is devoted to launching childcare franchises throughout the U.S. to provide comprehensive academic support and creative skills development for Pre-K children and beyond. Among her goals is the promotion of increased female participation in STEM fields. She aims to make this a reality by offering services that are affordable and accessible to families from diverse income groups and communities.

Breanna has always championed the unique abilities of each child and believes that with the right support, these skills can be honed to their fullest potential. Expanding Minds Academy is the realization of her vision, and it continues to embody her commitment to every child's educational journey.
